1) GENERAL: Unless otherwise agreed in writing these conditions constitute the only conditions upon which R. Grice & Sons Ltd (The Company) are willing to supply the goods to any person wishing to purchase goods (The Purchaser) from the Company's On-Line Store. All orders are accepted and executed on the understanding that the Purchaser is bound by these conditions. These conditions shall prevail over any terms and conditions in the Purchasers order or other document issued by the Purchaser except where expressly agreed to by the Company in writing.
2) All orders are subject to availability.
3) If the items ordered are not in stock, Customers will be informed via e-mail or telephone. Customers have the right to cancel an order placed on items not in stock if unsatisfied with the delivery alternative.
4) All products are covered by a minimum one year's Manufacturer's warranty except Styli and Projector lamps (unless otherwise stated).
5) Goods are not supplied on a rental or trial basis unless specifically stated in writing by the Company.
6) All displayed and advertised prices are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
7) Claims for missing items, non-delivery or damage to goods in transit must be made within 7 working days of expected delivery time. Any claims made after this time will not be accepted.
8) All products are insured by R Grice & Sons Ltd until delivery has been effected.
The following terms and conditions apply to mail order Consumers as defined in the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
9) The Purchaser shall, according to the terms set out in this clause, have the right to cancel an order within 7 working days after the date of delivery by the Company to the Purchaser provided that He or She gives written notice of such cancellation.
A) If the Purchaser cancels a contract, R. Grice & sons ltd shall, according to the regulations refund any payment made by the Purchaser within 28 days from the day on which He or She cancelled the contract, however that the Purchaser shall not be entitled to a repayment in the event that:
Ai) The Purchaser does not take due care and attention of the goods either prior or following the cancellation of the contract whilst the goods remain in the Purchasers possession. The Purchaser shall not be refunded if the goods are not packed in their original box, with all entireties e.g. manuals, remote controls, cables etc. and if the internal or external packaging has been damaged or misused in any way.
Aii) The Purchaser marks or damages the goods or returns them in a different condition to what He or She received on delivery. The Consumer is responsible for the cost of returning any goods to the Company. This applies to refunds, replacements and repairs.
10) CONSEQUENTAL LOSS: (a) The Company shall not be liable for any loss sustained by any personal damage to any property whatsoever and howsoever arising directly out of or in consequence of any act or omission by the Company in the supply of goods including delay, loss of profit and liability to third parties. (b) Nothing contained in these terms and conditions shall affect the Companies liability under the 'unfair contracts terms act 1977' for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Company.
11) "In to order" goods can only be returned if faulty.
12) This contract and these general conditions of sale shall at all times be construed in accordance with and subject to jurisdiction of the courts in England.

How can I get my new purchase installed and set up?
On most items we provide an installation service & on most freestanding kitchen appliances we provide free delivery & connection on a like for like basis to suitable plumbing & electrics.
We also set up all Tv & dvd equipment free of charge on all purchases above £250.
On integrated kitchen appliances, gas appliances & tv wall mounting we can arrange for you third part installation on the day of delivery at an additional cost [please call us for details]
How long do I have to wait for my goods to arrive?
Providing the goods are in stock we aim to deliver within 3-5 days of your order. If this is not possible we will contact you by telephone or e-mail
.Can you deliver my goods to a different address?
To prevent fraudulent transactions, we are currently only able to deliver to the Cardholders address, however once you have had more than 2 successful purchases and deliveries you will be able to request a delivery to a different address. In these circumstances each case will be looked at individually and extra security checks will be required.

What if I wish to cancel my order?
It is important to us that you are delighted with your order. In the unlikely event of you wishing to cancel your order you may do so without reason at any time from the day you placed the order, up to 7 working days starting the day after you received the goods. We will refund in full monies paid for your purchase within 30 days of cancellation. If the goods are not faulty or have not been wrongly delivered by us then they must be returned at your cost. Products must be returned unused, undamaged and in the original packaging along with any accessories, as any damage or shortages will be charged for accordingly. Goods are returned at your risk and should require a signature on delivery. If you are not able to return the goods, Grices can arrange to collect them and deduct the costs from your refund. Please make sure you contact us prior to returning your goods for a ‘Returns Authorisation Number’, as returns cannot be accepted without a Returns Authorisation Number.
What should I do if my goods arrive damaged?
Please examine the packaging before you sign to confirm receipt of the goods from our delivery agents*. If the packaging is incomplete or damaged in any way please refuse the delivery and contact us immediately.
Please take care when unpacking to prevent any damage to the goods. Please inspect the goods carefully and contact us within 7 working days of delivery if there are any damaged or missing items. *Items signed for as ‘received in good condition’ where there is obvious box damage cannot be returned for refund. (This is because we insure the shipment and we cannot claim if they are damaged but signed for as received in good condition.)
What happens if my goods develop a fault?
Within 28 days of receipt:
If your goods develop a fault within 28 days of receipt please contact us to arrange return and inspection.
Providing the fault has not been caused by neglect, accident or misuse and the item is still in “as new” condition with original packaging, we will generally exchange it or arrange a refund.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
After 28 days and within the guarantee period:
If your goods develop a fault after 28 days and within the manufacturers guarantee period we will arrange, entirely at our discretion, to repair or replace the product free of charge.
How long does it take to get a refund?
It is our policy to ensure that refunds are made as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order.
